As a troll player, the thing which hurts me the most in games is when I'm unable to focus on targets. Switching targets before killing them as troll is bad. So what you want to do to counter him is to keep disabling him and moving targets away from him. If he wastes his ulti in this way, it really triggers him.

Troll is NOT shit. He is actually THE best carry in the game right now. Heroes I don't like to play against when I'm Troll: Invoker, Treant, Spirit Breaker, though I generally hate these three heroes overall anyway.

kite him (buy force, glimmer, solar, halbard, ghost, blink, euls) and stun him. and don´t pick stuff like am vs him. treant, axe, bara, shaman, ww, bane, enigma, voker, sd are pretty decent imo. you can also contest his lane with something like sk+warlock. also try to contest his rosh (he can do it with pb+mask+yasha pretty fast). if he is retarded and you hear his ult for no reason (he is not visible+his team is not killing/pushing someone or something)=he is doing rosh to 90%

It's not really that hard, you need to cause a lot of chaos in a team fight so he can't stick to a target cus he will die if he can't life steal and switching targets ruins his dps. So just throw a shit ton of disables his way and have everyone run from him, also pikes/force staff, ghost scepters, glimmer capes, shadow blades, all you need to do is disrupt his dps for a second. Oh and massive nukes kill him fast too cus late game bkb doesn't last long at all.
