dotabuff stats shows for the past 1 month? I think he's WR dropped alot for this week according to dotaplus in game more like 50% flat-ish
Got Buffed? LOL... Lycan spammer here, and this is the worst nerf ever. Did you know that he was been nerfed since 7.16. 4x in a row and finally volvo developers find out how to make him hard to play.
7.20 - Reduced base health regen from 1.5 to 0!
- Reduced mana regen from from 1.5 to 0!
- Cripple no longer pierces spell immunity.
the rework on howl is so shit. I prefer previous howl, which grants bonus attack damage and health that doubles at night for 13 seconds. but now its only for him, and player's controlled units for 9 seconds with very high cooldown, not unless you will max it.
so I think lycan would probably be played as offlaner now and energized with other heroes especially Brood, Visage, Wrath King, Nature's Prophet, then he will bring strong utility items.
1. Helm of domi
2. Vlads,
3. Necro units and domi creeps aura
4. Drums
maxing 1st and 2nd, and start taking towers before mid game.
His howl still affects ally heroes. But yes seemed very much weaker now

Lycan has always scaled better with damage due to the extra crit of his ultimate. Making Howl based on attack speed is a straight nerf to his DPS, he doesn't scale as well with speed.
they just changed him back again to a right click hero instead of a brain dead necro spamming shistain
Look at lycan winrate. Used to be one of highest winrate in divine and immortal and now its dipping below 50%. Might as well delete the hero now.
more people playing a hero = winrate will decline. its the rule. he def got buffed.

In the new patch i thought lycan got buffed with cheaper helm and reworked howl but this hero winrate is plunging. What the hell is happening???
