from what I saw, every person calibrating support so far lost a fuck ton of MMR even going 6, 7, 8, 9 wins
so for future people, don't calibrate as support I guess

Read the new season statement. Valve stil seperates into core and support BUT you if you play core you win/lose mmr as support and if you play support you gain/lose mmr as core as well. Not sure how much % of the gained/lost points goes to the other role but it definatly does.
Having that said it and your information in mind, you probably gain support mmr after calibrating core.

my core was around 500
so even if they split mmr in half and recalibrate
its still too low

wrong , valve said percentage of MMR not all
and even that ... am talking about recalibrating supp mmr without playing a single core.. even my old core was 500 MMR,,, but with 9 Wins.. should be like 1k
not 580!!
Try calibrate your core aswell, maybe that's just what the remnants of party mmr system (which is now all solo mmr) and you need your core mmr to complete your solo mmr

Ok stop spreding false information. I calibrated as support (won 6,lost 4) ans gained 150 mmr -had 4490, after calibration got 4643 . Tomorrow im planing to calibrate core and see final result.

ok so i am a support player whose MMR was around 1150 (crusader 2) prior to this new season calibration
The 1 Loss i get out of 10 calibration games for support, i got because i was playing with randoms before the update and update happened during the game.. the loss was counted!!!
although i passed that fact and won the other 9 games
My shock was that my new MMR is: 580 (Congratz u got guardian1)
how this possibly happen????
Am thinking to rage quit the game bcz i didnt touch my core MMR yet and it shouldn't have any relation!
