I’ve sent so many Emails with no response whatsoever
All true except alchemist has calmed down a bit . He isnt op anymore , but just a cheese last pick hero again .
Well both mirana and ns have great kill potential (powerfull nukes, speed, disables). Both can affort unique opportunities for team (global invis/best night vision). So many items sits on those heroes comfortable (u can almost build anything for them if needed). Plus they can be used on different possitions (mirana 1-5, ns 2-4). I think thats why they are great.
Alche nerfed a bit, no longer can manaregen from ult. Can’t say he is too good.
Main thing about night stalker was the nuke did literally nothing for half the game, now it does full damage again so he’s back to full strength again and the actual power that his Terrorblade like ultimate rework does is no longer being held back by his weaker day form.
I believe it's just the result of all other heroes being nerfed and these mentioned heroes secretly floating to the top.
I believe Clock, Undying, Venge, WW and Sky are actually really good now too, but the people at >5k are too busy getting meta MMR, playing according as they're told.
Dire side Alch is just too damn good because of the easy pull camp being so close to the medium camp, allowing for acid spray to hit both and fast farm both. I usually see Alch far more powerful on Dire side, one of the few parts of Dota which hasn’t completely negated Radiant-Dire differences
Nightstalker has been getting silent buffs for sometime. GOD TIER ATM
As others stated alch post nerf seems balanced now.
Mirana just seems like a mobile pudge to me.
Notable meta seems back to normal
Juggernaut, terror blade, and nightstalker feel like the game changing picks.
For me visage has been in a good spot every time recalibration comes around. This time everyone was nerfed and visage was untouched. He can be played position 1-5

What do you think about these heroes? Alchemist has been infamously OP for a few months now and Mirana has been on the rise but Night Stalker is a surprising top pick.
Here's my take:
The meta is all about fast paced games. Mirana can throw an arrow every 15 seconds or so which if it lands can start a great fight. She can also make her entire team go invisible which is amazing for initiating or running away from team fights.
Alchemist is very fast at farming so at 15-20 minutes when he gets a Radiance he is so ahead of everyone else that it's hard to deal with and you will get overrun. This has been known for a long time though.
Nightstalker is very fast and tanky so he can run at you early and have it be more beneficial to him. This can lead to a snowball effect where nightstalker wins fights and gets items and levels and progresses faster than the enemy. His new aghs is strong for farming, just run around and do an aoe nuke and kill many creeps quickly to farm fast.
Now are these benefits greater than other heroes when it comes to the meta? It seems that way because these heroes are top 5 in win rate % in divine/immortal games while being picked very often.
What do you think? Why are these specific heroes doing so well?
