The best way to complete 100 hrs and get best rank in General Discussion

Simply if a decent player plays with 4 other decent, say archon players the decent guardian player can get archon as well am I right?
I created a new account cus in this one I fucked up with bad teams to be honest.
Any volunteers to help me on my new account? I call to all those archon even legend players so I can even get better while playing with them. It’s a really good way to get better at the game and be ready to actually play against archon and legend cus I think I might get there if I learn a bit more of Dota.
    I usually play pos 1 or 2

Just dont screw up ur first few games or u will end up like me on this account (look at my first matches). If u are playing in SEA, we can party. So i dont really care about rank for now and i would like to party with people around herald-guardian only.

      I am a sub 3k player btw.

OR you can actually improve yourself rather than thinking you are not at the right bracket .

One way to improve is by playing with a bit better players then me like archon. I didn’t say ancient cus this is a different lvl.

I will tell you a few things.

First, if you think playing with better players will naturally make you better, you're wrong. You will keep repeating the same mistakes that hold you down. If anything, you will:
            1. become more reliant on your team
            2. give yourself more credit for the wins when you do win (typical average dota 2 player mindset) and as a result
            3. start to consider yourself better than other players in your bracket because you won against archons when that will be the furthest thing from the truth

You can improve playing with better players, but that will be only if you analyze the games, learn what mistakes YOU made & how to rectify them, and blame yourself for every loss, which the majority is unable to do.

Secondly, don't say you're a pos1 / 2 player when you're below 5k. You are equally bad on all roles when you play against a better opponent if you're playing at a very low skill rank. Your preferred positions mean nothing. Learn to play 5 whenever you're playing with better players than yourself. Always prioritize giving core positions to people with higher ranks, because they impact the outcome more and you will get to learn more.

It is extremely rude to even suggest to let yourself play 1 /2, even if you're just 1 rank below, let alone 2-3 ranks. Learn to play 4 and 5 the most until you become good at them. You can practice playing core at your own bracket but never with better players. A good dota player will be comfortably good at all positions before he can have preferences for what he thinks he's good at / likes to play.

            And remember,
The only people who improve are those who aren't offended by advices, especially those coming from someone better than them.

Just enjoy the game, what the fuck is wrong with you

              defense of the herald

I always play 3/4 when i party with my immortal friends. To play 5 its really hard in high rank because opponents always know how to shut u down (dewarding/ they know ur time when to pull and stacks/ break ur smoke gank/ outplayed ur position during war)

So basically pos 5 is the hardest role for a beginner. It feels good when high rank players supporting u, sometimes (when u dont miss cs/ knows how to control creeps in lane). They are the "captain" and will command u what to do during laning phase (okay so this when u actually learning how to play the game) but still its hard to improve when u play in high ranks.

Just enjoy low rank games and can throw a bit :axe_laugh:

Archon players wont help you since they do almost everything wrong themselves.

Ive been playing a lot with Archons recently and first of all: Reaction time is the worst. You should focus on your reflexes and map awareness.

Giving up way too easily is another thing and missing ton of cs.

If you want to improve watch Speed guides on youtube. Playing in party will give you nothing.

Playing other games than Dota2 for a while actually helps, a decent amount of CS can really help in the reflex department

Other than that you need game knowledge because you can't and won't improve if you aren't able to think about what you're doing and to do that you need to know what options you have and how to weigh them

                    nice impact

just purchase an account. you can literally get a phone verified 1k-2k account for less than $20

unless you live somewhere that you can't make $20 in 100 hours, it's worth your time.
