I feel like i usually want a pipe over a shroud, and usually an orchid over mage slayer. They can be situationally good, but more often than not their counterparts do the job better.
Eternal shroud seems good for casters, mage slayer for agi cores.
Apart from that both items have certain advantages against specific lineups.

How are these items? Shroud seems really good on viper/necro type people but magebane seems kind of not good. The pricepoint is very awkward and the stats are not good, although obviously the passive is incredible
