All in all, this was such a weird international. All in all i felt many team sucked at drafting, like they would pick way too greedy or they would pick heroes without any synergy at all and thats why there was so many boring games. Tbh i felt VG was the best team at drafting from what ive seen at ti5, and they went up 1-0 against LGD and then in their 5th pick in game 2 they mess it all up... Pick up sniper... against a tusk? lol ok. really gonna be useful with that range advantage huh? Like wow... Its just those kind of decisions that make it so weird. I felt like the field at ti5 have become better compared to when we had RattleSnakes and MouseSports that would get stomped and would throw 30k gold leads away, but it seems like some weird unorthodox dota being played right now.
I just miss the old doto i guess with "classic" drafts and "classic" matchups where teams would pick either "the farming game lineup" or like "lets rely on execution" lineup for example, magnus, dark seer, enigma would be 3 typical heroes on one team for the "rely on execution lineup" and then opposing team would go for the farming game and have like PL or Void farm safelane. But man this ti was weird in some way. I did enjoy it alot most of the time but im really dissapointed with EGs reaction. Seems like this tournament means shit to them and it really devalues the tournament alot tbh also from "randoms" point of view, they think like meh just a shit game and shit tourny. So yeah in that regard its really dissapointing to me. And then you put the whole crowd to sleep instead of getting them pumped up after the game? if u want that mouse to play boring-ass music then at least do it inbetween the games WTF. And where is the post game interview with the losers!?!? we didnt get to see how CDEC (or C D E C) reacted!?!? JESUS. Production value when its best...
