i learned from waga, he basically clicks it and presses the hotkey to activate it. otherwise u just activate the nearest one and u may activate the wrong one

im doing R tab Q with autoselect summoned units but it doesnt work half of the time for some reason so you better just learn to click it i guess

Press 'D' and the nearest trap denotates first. As to what to buy first. I usually look at the enemy lineup. I get deso first if they lack stuns and are squishy af. Get deso first if you want to be farm efficient.

Pressing D to detonate is suboptimal, since when you get stunned/silenced it doesnt work, so it's better to manually select traps and detonate with Q

I always manually detonate my Traps via selecting them.

Past early game you shouldn't move anywhere without Refraction on you.

Deso first no matter what happens.

The traps work in a way that the longer you place them on the map the more it slows, so if possible always place it for 1-2s then spring it when chasing.

Refraction should always be timed so you can use it twice in a fight, this takes experience and you will learn as you go along(:

Clearing ancients should always be done by kiting instead of tanking the full camp. The best time to hit is when they reach the end of their aggro and starts retreating back to their spawn point.

I usually select my traps by dragging a box over them right after I place them, then detonate. It's seemed a bit buggy in the last few patches, though. It seems like if you do it to fast you'll end up with the trap selected but the detonation not able to work. I might be screwing up my clicking though.

I manually click the trap if there's many nearby traps, then press Q to activate it. But if there is no other traps nearby, I typically just press D. (Which is the actual/official ability key, cause it's technically her 5th ability)
