Boring concepts in Starcraft: play style for each race is very limited, invis, scan, turtle(espically with siege tanks and planetary fortress), everything makes you immobile(siege tank, Liberator, burrow), creep spread, Protoss is pretty cool, except their annoying invis units.
@kenny they as a whole balances the game, and makes it playable. I'm just point out what's individually boring. Same with the stuff I said about Starcraft, btw I'm a Terran main.
I actually enjoy hero reworks, it's s valiant effort making the game more intriguing for a while.

why the fuck does every carry need a crit passive.
jugg, WK, PA, CK. Sven would have a crit passive too, but luckily he also builds crit items. how fucking boring is this for god damn damage
In my humble opinion, Lina is the most fun hero with crit, you send 5-6 fireballs to enemy support, and watch them turning back with panic while getting burned to shit. Valve should add a Lina bracer immortal, change her projectile and give her enemy a burning death animation just like hers.
Dota itself is boring.
You play a game where there are 3 lanes, 3 towers and 2 barracks each, and your goal is to destroy enemy ancient with 4 other people against 5 people who will try to do just the same to you. Do it over and over again and you'll get tired of it eventually.
How's crit fun it's just random damage. Might as well make your deaths in game random throughout. Why not. 1% chance to just die for no reason.
Bashing is fun
Isn't it more boring to just have percentage dmg increase based on the crits avg dmg increase?
Crits serve the purpose for burst like on wk and brew and pa, and on wk its even a farming ability.
