Yeah like I said in other topics you only have to look at the TF2 WebAPI to see the potential.
DotaBuff need to be helping develop it rather than make drama.
Yeah. Good thing VALVe is never changing. Listening to the fans and pleasing everyone's desires, as long as they do not counteract each other. Good thing they know respect unlike some scumbags that made a drama out of this, pointing fingers, and the entire community towards VALVe's throat without a good reason, defined by a beta game, as VALVe had the legal obligation to respect their previous business model (Team Fortress 2). Also they had almost burned down the website for a moment, until they realized that the money is too valuable, not the fans. I am not here to enrage anyone. I just want people to open their eyes so their blind loyalty won't hurt them in the long run, as you are aware of dotabuff.com's doing, unless you are in denial, which is bad for you.
All hail VALVe. All hail VALVe. WWIII anyone ??
@AzKat
Somehow, you forgot to mention how I am wrong, and how the actions of dotabuff.com are explainable in any way (do not forget that when in a position of power normal standards do not apply).
Dotabuff does the job Valve should have done long time ago - I mean statistics. But shitty Valve just creates some difficulties for them. Anyways, before talking big tell me your league, dbr and percentile.
Yeah I agree... That feature should have been released when the game came out of beta in 2003... Oh wait, wasn't that DotA ? When EuL was working on the map ? Ergh... Sorry, I'm old, I get things mixed up :(
Still didn't answer the question ... ;D But let's be fair... VALVE API is rly terrible... As if I'm working on Java editor at home ... I have to remember codes,keys and stuff whenever I want to find myself a replay, skill lvl and other stuff... Why bother ? Dotabuff had all those things in a much accessible way... I'm not supporting neither DOTABUFF, nor VALVE. I just want to be able to check my scores,stats,replays without bothering to remember useless stuff... If VALVE manages in the end to surprise us with a similar design of private stats as DOTABUFF - that would be awesome. If not - we will be here again spamming useless comments on how things need to change...
P.S. Don't want to offend no one with my comments... :) Just expressing opinion :)
bullc***......... who said that the normal standards dont appkly when in power. You gain power only since the standards were set!! Damn..... learn some humility people....
@akonrideadick
It's good to know that by your standards, when someone obtains power... They need not conform to normal standards anymore. (This sounds like a dictatorship?)
There is a limit to how many times people will keep pointing out how wrong your drivel is. Every time they do, you go off on a new tangent or post the same crap in a new thread. This must reflect how much you need to convince yourself that your worthless opinions hold merit.

From the latest patch notes:
"WEBAPI
- Added Captain's Mode Picks and Bans.
- Added ability upgrade order and times to each player.
- Added inventory for additional units (Lone Druid's Spirit Bear).
- Added an API for getting match details in the order they were recorded."
These are some of what Dotabuff was worried about losing when switching over to the API. Good to know that Valve is listening to feedback.
