Recent patch code suggests that Valve will be introducing a solo ranked ladder soon. Might as well wait for that.
@Ming Valve's problems with matchmaking are mainly due to their inability to cater for parties. Solo queues are quite accurate now, check my profile and you'll see that most of the bad games I've had are with less-than-five-stacks, whereas my solo queue games tend to be quite balanced.

As solo queue player, I'm quite ok with players I get matched with, except for some 3-4 man stacks.
i hope solo ranked wont be included for ap but only for rd/sd/cm I just cant imagine playing every game against 5 tryhard picks which will include heroes like magnus nyx bat cancerlancer gyrocopter io naix ld :(

I tried to find some matches, I stayed like 20 minutes and nothing, this league needs more players in order to work out
A solo que CM mode would be needed i think, if you wanted cm style ladder. 5 picks/5 bans, so in some order everyone gets 1 pick and 1 ban across the team. Otherwise you might get a garbage captian which is common now in solo que cm.
