Skywrath mage can we really nasty late game, because of his insane intelligence gain and great damage output
necro gets pretty fucking stupid late game because of his ult ... if someone has 3k health and you get them to 1500, they are dead, which is why he is really really fucking annoying. But the others are good as well, etc timber, swm, nyx isn't as reliable anymore but he's still very good if he gets a head start

I'm not talking about QoP or Puck since they do fine solo, I'm talking about giving safe farm to certain heroes with lousy laning like Witch Doctor or etc.

Rhasta's aghw ards were buffed tremendously. With aghs + refresher, you can do like 1.2k damage an attack. This is unstoppable if gotten early enough since only physical attacks can kill the wards (putting you in range of them).
safe lane rhasta, midas, aghs, refresher, rax at 25 minutes.
...that sounds amazing. lol.
Throw in an offlane ld to tank tower damage and it sounds near unstoppable.

^ Well, you could call him an attack-modifier carry.
Necro is a good choice if you want a mid-game carry, though he only reaches semi-carry potential. In fact, I think 80% of my lost necro games were because I played him as a support...Necro SUCKS as a support.
You could argue that making Warlock rush Aghanim's + Refresher can be considered a semi-carry build, since the immolation from the golems stack and each one has a 60% chance to proc flaming fists which deal aoe damage.

Certain spellcasters have really powerful potential but lack the early game ability to farm levels/gold.
For example, Witch Doctor can dish out crazy damage and a stun albeit not very reliable. A Nyx in a tri who can rush Dagon. Etc and etc.
Obviously not against BKB intensive lineups and not run as a sole core. Any thoughts?
