captains mode is for organized teams NOT for pubs, people who que into CM as a solo player are a special type of retard
"cause they play that shit in tournaments u stupid cunt"
What? All of them? All of the time?
I maybe a stupid cunt, but the question is still valid :p
"captains mode is for organized teams NOT for pubs, people who que into CM as a solo player are a special type of retard"
But don't the top players play in stacks most of the time? Isn't that more or less the same thing, comms and shit?
It's so rare to see anything other than AP on the top pages and that just seems weird to me. Ah well, just a retard doing retarded things, nothing to see here, move along.
i dont que ap anymore. amount of idiots is astonishing.
at least in cd/cm i can do some sort of damage control.
because if u play cm or cd u wait longer for a more imbalanced game with worse players on ur team
'anyone at all like to play DP mid????????noone???????well ok Ill pick him anyway and we will decide later if it works'
-every fucking idiot who gets captain in CM
Like what Sampson said, CM is for organised teams not pubs, its pointless playing with AND against people you don't know.
1. You aren't going to get the level of communication/co-ordination in most pub cm games compared to tourneys
2. Drafting becomes pointless for many reasons, more often than not you see generic drafts in pub cm because of sheep mentality.
3. Top tier 5 stacks are better off scrimming than queuing in cm ranked.
Its not possible to do drafting correctly without a good knowledge of what heroes your team is good at playing, how good they are, and how practice they are playing those heroes together in combination... and its also important to known what the other team likes to play too, which is completely impossible in pub CM.
Captain's Mode should not even exist for pubs in my opinion. It should only be an option for Team Matching.
you lose too many points if you play cm/cd and the queue is taking too long to find a match if you have 5k+
i think you win 3-7 points and lose 50 or some shit
not really. it all depends. if your average party is around 5k you get sub 20 often, prolly ~10ish and lose ~30ish.
obviously you can run into some with better ratings tho those ate rare.
Drafting is a strategy you know
people who play in big tourney shouldn't appear in public game much because they will give out the way they play and strategies
look at iG last year appearing in pub almost everyday -> wrekt in TI

Why do the best players seem to always play all pick? Why is there so rarely any Captains Draft or Captains Mode on the top pages? I'd heard that good players like the proper version of the game with teamwork and stuff, so why does all pick dominate the highest rated games in the world?
