if by worth you mean good mid heroes there are dp zeus but those heroes have a low skillcap
He means you don't really need to practice them, they don't take much skill I guess. Also you mainly should practice unfavourable match-ups like Puck vs TA, TA vs QoP, SF vs TA, TA vs Invoker etc.
zeus and dp are heroes whoses success relies more on proper positioning game sense and team movement rather than actual mechanical execution of the hero.
like you wont need 20 games of zeus to know when to arc bolt and when to bolt arc but 20 games of ta storm invoker ember tinker games each would probably raise your game by a significant amount
Phantom Lancer mid under-rated. Spectre mid may work too. Getting fast lvl 7 with max desolate kills all squishy supports if they're alone.
May need a team to make it work doe.
right now you only need to know invoker... and if you are against puck, play defensive cause puck > invoker
