If you're going for the SEMI-carry it can work. Wr. sadly is not a hard carry(try to play her against heroes like anti mage or alche). If you're going for orchid rush it, because it's best in the early game. Also i really really really dont recommend playing wr carry. She is better played as a semi support, utility hero.

Oh and buy force staff one her(pretty much core unless you're hard supporting which you should not)

Also she is a very good mek carrier mainly because of her escapes, and the overall stats that mek give.

There's no need for mjolnir, maelstrom is enough.

Damage: phase, Maelstorm, MKB, Vyse
Survivability: Aghanim
Situational: BKB, Desolator

I like going Blink over Force on semi-carry WR. It lets you position much better for Shackles.

IMO the build for semi-carry WR is: Phase > Blink > Aghs > Maelstrom > MKB > Orchid/Hex > Mjollnir

You don't want to rush Mjollnir, just Maelstrom for the lightning procs (which happen very often with her ult's attack speed). Mjollnir lategame if you got the dosh but otherwise skip the upgrade IMO. Maelstrom is a fantastic item on WR, and if you're getting Aghs on her it's pretty much core IMO.

god your last wr match was trash. Why did you went for the carry build? you already had weaver and void. If you would've went for semi support(with mek, eul etc.) you would've had more chances to win.

The thing that people don't realise is that WR is waaaaay more suited to be a carry than POTM, and POTM is run as a carry pretty often. She is similarly flexible enough to be run in almost any role, with a slightly more reliable skill shot-based disable, better base stat growth, and 1.5 seconds BAT. By building for damage she can hit really hard even outside of focus fire. Her only drawback is not benefitting from Agi DPS items like Butterfly, but makes up for it by benefitting more from semi-utility DPS like Orchid and Hex.

^ and that's why she can't carry properly(imo). If she were agi she would've surpassed mirana regarding the carry potential.

except that carry miranas goes for mjollnir, deso, mkb, daedalus, linken, bkb etc, all of which benefit WR equally.

WR only loses out in Manta and Bfly, but has 100% evasion to make up for butterfly, while getting alot more damage from Hex and Orchid, while having a better damage steroid by far.

imo wr is superior as a carry.

maelstrom is insane on WR and should be core. unless you want to be useless and play support mek first WR or some shit

no aghanim? so its one of those carry WR who skip ulti at lv 6, 11 and 16 since stats would be more useful with that item anyway.

Agha is a good boost but you have to see if enemies have individual heroes that need to be bursted rapidly or multiple cores which are all fairly dangerous. The cooldown reduction is really nice but will only be good in long drawn fights, so it depends on the game.

Without Agha it is still a very worthy investment.

And the list of items I mentioned were for Mirana, not WR....

Yeah i think windranger is better than a mirana, when i have ult with ags and vyse even a player with Hot die fast, and th shackle can inmovilize 2 players with 3.75 sec stun, so the hero have better skills and she's funnier.
