if you are good but immature they will report u so that you might learn and grow up then they will be willing to team with u again.

but if you are trash and also immature then they would rather silently put u on blacklist and dodge you but if you on oppo team then stay for free mmr

Hard to get muted now but I remember I used to be muted most of the time... Muted for 1 day, unmuted, getting muted for no reason once again - 3 days, the longest mute was like 7 days and I had to spam "well played", this shit lowers the possibility to teamwork.

It wouldnt be bad but sometimes It was like - someone was talking shit - I tried to defend and told the flammer to stfu or something, he then reports me and I end up with a mute

doesn't matter what you say. It matters how many times you say it. Dota 2 as a game promotes silences frankly. You could be providing lots of insight and trying to coach your team, or you can be flaming. It doesn't matter. people will com abuse report you for using chat a lot. It really isn't about flaming.

People report you for "overuse" of chat. They don't report you for flaming.

Yea I think the only time I have ever been muted was went I got into a long flame fest with another person. As long as you are short and sweet with your flaming you wont get muted

i just add people for random dota chit chat/strategy. sometimes queue with them as well if they agree to

I was muted once or twice in my life, but i probably deserved it. The longer and more frequent you talk, the more chances you get to be muted. It's not even about words (like saying "you fuckin suck" or sth), it's about constant pressure on someone (or the whole team).

You were lucky so far i guess or you didnt flame or feed curiers in more games one after another. If you got reported in one game it's not enough, to be muted you have to get reported by at least few people in different matches.

Concede is right. I have told people "Dude STFU!" and didn't get muted. The people who get muted are the ones who flame over and over for the whole match. And they deserve to be muted.
