Bounty Rune in General Discussion

Is there any point in the game where grabbing the bounty rune would be better than grabbing what the other rune would be?

I can see it be advantageous when there's illusions or at the start of the game and the other rune is a regen or something like that.

When is gold and exp bad ? Especially early!
Also, what would you rather have, enemy mid pick up rune and you wouldnt get anything ? It is a tradeoff to stop bottlecrowing

I'm not saying that it's a bad addition, I'm just asking if you knew what both runes were and where they were via wards. In what situation would you grab the bounty rune and which situation would you grab the other rune

Would you rather have invis or bounty rune as Riki? Guess we all know the answer.

I think what smart teams will do is have the bottle mid go for one while a support grabs the other, or tries to, hoping the support will get the bounty one. Will the bounty one add bottle charges?

Or maybe supports and offlane will go for runes while mid stays put or bottle crows. I don't think it changes mid play as much as it really changes the roaming support play.

^Obviously since you rush a bottle on riki and skill invis as second or third you would like to get invis since the fadetime is way less

@Timberwolf Yes the bounty rune adds bottle charges

yea this seems like a roaming rune really, also the supports can now get free xp/gold instead of just denying a rune from the enemy mid
