My Dark Seer has very bad winrate.

I usually win my lanes, get decent farm which allows me to acquire multiple items to help out my team such as Mek and Pipe. In addition, I have good damage output and effective ultimates which in some cases have allowed the team to win a fight.

In a couple of these games I don't even perform badly at all, getting the best KDA, the best farm and one of the highest damage amounts in the team. I do help my team, surging allies so they can escape, or using Wall + Vacuum to aggressively initiate.

All that being said, a common feature in these games is feeding teammates.

Am I unlucky? Or am I genuinely doing things wrong here? With 20% winrate over 15 games I must be making some sort of mistakes. Perhaps leaching farm, playing too selfishly or simply not playing the right hero for the job.

In for info. Apparently i suck on him too even though I use him a lot

I've seen other people that have low Dark Seer winrate despite playing reasonably well all things considered. I don't think that the hero doesn't add much to the game either- I think he's a very powerful hero. Able to jungle at level 1, able to dominate the offlane, etc...

try getting tranquils instead of arcanes so that you can creep skip with them, and dive much better than with arcanes, since you'll have ~10 armour and a stout. if you have a buckler as well (which can build into both the mekansm or the crimson guard) you are extremely tanky at that point in the game, so use that timing window to your advantage, and just run at people with ion shell. don't let the void/AM/PA et cetera get free farm, and participate in as many fights as possible.

depending how the game goes, you can opt for the greedy skill build, which is 4-4-2-0 by level 10, getting your ult at 11 and 12. greedy because you won't have your rank 2 ult until you're 12, which takes a long time to get (2200 xp, same as going from lv 21 to 22), and his rank 2 ult has a huge duration increase, doubling from 15 seconds to 30, so it's an important skill to level.

otherwise, if you're sure that your team is going to be fighting before you can reach lv 12, then you want to make sure that you don't start a fight at lv 11 when you only have a rank 1 wall, when it could be rank 2 instead and single-handedly win you the fight.
if this is the case, then you can either go 4-3-2-2 or 3-4-2-2. I prefer going 4-3-2-2 because i'd rather have an increased vaccuum radius than 20 extra ion shell dps

your dark seer games are very old anyways, you should assume you are playing a completely new hero seeing as you have not played him for 7 months. sure at the end game screen it looks like your allies performed badly, but that's irrelevant. could you have performed better is the question, since wall is dependent on the opponents farm that even if your team is not doing so well, wall basically evens out the fight. since your replays have long expired, you should just play DS more often so that I (or other people willing to help) can watch a recent game instead of just looking at endgame stats which don't tell the whole story.

            Actually you are doing well....

But with hard feed teammates is hard to win, no matter which hero you play...

Also, you getting the best farms/kda etc etc is not a good signal, since DS make #3 ~#5 role, so... party up with better teammates or raise your MMR with a good #1 hero

and this doesn't just apply to your DS games, but all your games in general:
stop finding excuses to blame your teammates instead of admitting your own faults.

play some DS games, I'll try to find some time to watch them, you tell me how you think the game went, what went wrong, and what you did right and/or wrong

DS is an awful support, he needs gold and levels. either run him mid or offlane.

Thanks! I'll give him a try sometime with the tips provided!

                  outerspaceboys

what do you expect in normal skill? never depend on your teammates XD just FLAME EM XD

                    صدق86

Tranquil over arcane? Don't you have mana problems trying to TP->Vac->Wall->Mek during early game? even if you soul ring

                      Sōu ka

havent played that hero in forever but he seems to be coming back at the moment

basically the hero isnt strong at fighting but if your team plays like you are you are in a bad spot
20 games is a terrible sample size and yes you have normal skill games and you wont be good at a hero after 20 games but i guess winning normal games isnt exactly about playing well but rather about playing around everybody doing questionable stuff

so if you wanna improve on that hero play it 10 times in a row and ask specific questions

like nobody whos good at that hero will know how leeching xp and/or stealing farm in a normal skill level game will affect your winrate

                        Twisted

I never flame people and I rarely blame them. I can't control how my teammates play so I simply try to play to my best. However, when teammates blatantly feed, that annoys me. For example a 3-20 Silencer in a recent game of mine...

                          Flat is Justice!

DS is a very strong support with any chase hero

                            eg. weaver, pa, ns

as long as u go with a good partner, he auto wins

                            Conall

DS does well when he can aid allies with great tower dive potential.

You probably need to think more about the draft/lanes I would think.
