I'm not saying I don't deserve a report time to time but it is a little excessive right now the way people push them out.

Don't act like your attitudes are always perfect or at least admit your partying up and not solo queing.

If you go and talk smack about people, it's not accomplishing anything. Reporting for annoying behavior isn't uncommon. You have to say what to do better next time with no sign of aggression if you want to be heard.

I have been gone for 5 months and came back only wanting to support or play offlane and it's just frustrating.

Games take longer to launch. People say whatever they want you reply and they spam reported/muted.

Honestly if people used the mute button this game would be better off. In fact maybe using mute should be in the tutorial.

I barely have stresses in solo queue, a mute and a report here and there and I don´t even have to hear the allchat from people like you.
I don´t care if you buy wards or not, play the game to win and do what necessary, mute people that annoy you.

On the plus side I always have a little smile on my face when people like you complain about the report system or trench, or anything in general. Especially when they start to argue when they get called out.

Is there a way to know you've been reported? Like a list of active reports?

*People never learn.
*Never all chat with enemies, unless pause issues. They dont care, just like you dont care when they talk to you.
*Instead of almost "ordering" to buy wards, you can actually ask for them.
*If your supports are stupid, buy them yourself. Sometimes you have to man up.
*The worst kind of agressiveness is being passive agressive.
*Ego in dota is huge. You can never underestimate the power of ego in this game.

Main thing to remember is the people who flame on these forums are apparently uber polite in game or harass on mic as to not have chat logs show their true colors.

as Support CM if people don't get mid rune. Or I'm in bot or top and the only one getting my side of the rune. I just tell them one time on chat, since most people have music blasting and don't listen to VoIP. "Hey if you guys don't get runes, I'm not buying wards next time." I give them 4 minutes, if they get less than 2/4 runes. I just go midas, shadowblade on CM. It's simple as that.

Smoke does no good if you don't have team coordination. Even if you tell x player to wait for y player to stun first. They still manage to stack stuns or worst the smoke gank is a reverse gank and fails. Sometimes some people never bother to smoke anyways. Even if it's on courier flying to a 4 man gank, some people don't care for it. They rather split push or afk jungle as support or better things to do like pull creeps 40 minutes in. I've seen plenty of 5 man smoke ganks and 2 guys go off to jungle or roshan instead.

Another alternative you can do as support is, if they aren't taking runes. Start warding off the pull jungle or the offensive jungle for gank vision. When noobs ping map instead of talk nicely about "why they aren't wards?" you can calmly type, "read chat" or "what for?". If they argue with you can can point out, they got 0 runes so far and that they have yet to gank 15 mintues in etc...

I don't play support much nowadays, but when I do i play ones that have effective late game potential like "WD", "Lion", "Warlock", "Mirana" and "shadow shaman". That way if there's no carry or my team fails, I could transition into carry myself. There's nothing like ratting with sb, BoT, refresher, sceptor shadow shaman ratting and winning the game.

I don't deny I have faults obviously I get very frustrated when I'm trying to be a team player support and get no help for doing it. I also eventually snap and flame too hard and justifiably get reported.

I still do not think I said reported first and if I did I agree that's lame and childish.

Side note your chat log doesn't account for microphone chatter etc. so relax and I get it stop flaming me on this forum you have made your point and I accept most of it.

good, at least you see the problem, when i get flamed i mute and move on. I tried flaming back long ago but realized its waste of time and best way to farm reports, so I stopped.

I will say it's a lot more difficult for someone like me playing a 3-5 of as opposed to some people who flamed me in this post who mass pick slark, jugg etc

It depends on the point of view, I rather have someone mass pick Jugg and Slark then someone mass-picking earth spirit

carries have no idea how to be support that is why they play carries cause u can just basically go afk for 20 mins and farm.

Even though Earth spirit isn´t an insta win it is annoying as fuck to play against, same goes with techies.

Just give ES pickers some respect at least the hero takes some practice and every ability used requires more effort than any other hero.
