I find that Midas Void generally results in lost games - ie I lose games where we have a Void who goes Midas and win them when the enemy Void goes Midas. The hero is so good at killing from level 6 so why do people bother getting an item which is going to take 30 minutes before it pays off, when you could farm a mask of madness in the same time and be getting kills and snowballing from level 6.
mom > midas
If you get mom and power treads in 10 mins you can kill any full hp support with maxed bash.
Well i dont think midas is problem, i get midas 90%of my void games.
Those are games i played this year:
http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1457953641 , was best in team, but its clear who lost that game
http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1118225742 , best in team, from offlane...
http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1156451287, best in team
So in game i lost as midas void, i was still best in team in terms of farm, witch is expected.
This idiot was outfarmed by both mid and offlaner with ether having midas...
and to Pilot:
fact that i have low win % and high kda, like on Mirana and Weaver means that i am doing good in most of games, and still losing them to idiots(like this void)...
I can have high kda and still do bad on a hero.
Since when did focusing on the mistakes of other people (mistakes that you can't change) help you? I suggest you listen to the video, it would help you.

void is not necessarily bad this patch. He's a situational pick--he needs a team that can hurt enemies who are trapped in chrono

Chain frost + chrono is a nice combo, and techies can also throw mines into chrono

Call down + chrono is a nice combo, and od ult can hit enemies inside chrono
@ KiTraK
He's not as good as he once was, but he's not always a bad pick. Chrono is a good initiation tool. The key is, you need to have allied heroes who can interact with chrono, i.e. heroes with long-range nukes (witch doctor, lich, gyrocopter, od, skywrath, lina, etc). Chrono lasts for 4/4.5/5 seconds, so these comboes aren't too hard to set up. In other words, comboing with Void doesn't take split-second reaction times from your teamates. Just let your teamates know a few seconds before you're about to chrono.
