so is blink mandatory on puck? in General Discussion

    Ok now I've been in several games now.. Puck either sucks mid or is behind, no ganks or anything. Team falls behind.. With a nuke heavy enemy team. Does the standard puck always go blink after treads/bottle? Can't he go soulbooster or sceptor if he is behind? Cuz I always see this like 700HP puck against a nuke heavy lineup like Tiny/NS/Lina/Lion or something like that. You just know puck isn't gonna make it after he blink ults.

    What's the point of blink if you're gonna die in like 2-3 nukes?

      ya he goes blink when behind

      if u execute right u dont take the nukes unless they have a silencer sitting in well

        its core but you might want to delay it on purpose sometimes

          A good puck player with a blink is one of the most, if not the most, annoying hero to kill.

            Do they dagon 5 afterwards? even in face of getting rekt by lion in forest or axe call? jw really my 3k mmr, just really stupid build IMO. Sure you can escape 2/3 times but the other time you get called or fingered by lion right afterwards.

                I feel like Aghanims Scepter is very rarely worth the pickup. It can be worth it if you have several forcestaff users on your team.

                Remember that Puck can always use blink to escape. Face the direction you're going to blink to, phase shift to cooldown the blink dagger from player hits, and you're safe. Pick up a Euls Scepter and silences won't even get you.

                Usually the few heroes that can cooldown the blink with some skill and then blink away have it as a core item. Templar Assassin can use blink to jump on someone, but can also blink out of Meld to escape, or use refraction to dodge damage for 3 seconds. Sand King needs blink dagger for long range initiation, but between Sandstorm, his stun, and blink, he becomes very slippery.

                    @krytpyt

                    actually i feel like flaming every pro game i dont see a fast scepter rush after dagger because the item is CORE to your DNA dota wise :p

                    its srsly op and IMO the way he should be played now and had to for a couple of months already.

                    But pubs are another sory :p dont max your dagon though, get it level 1 only

                    i love u butt

                      puck is one of those heroes that looks like total shit in 2k mmr but turns into an annoying fucker that wipes your face with his ass in 5k mmr
