A average is not decent grades, thats literally perfect grades where i live, my average is around BB (3.03 out of 4.00 max). im also suffering from the same fate. maths is not too bad, but fucking fourier series or w/e the fuck they are, i literally have no idea what they are or why they are useful in any way.

u get a bunch of subjects, for some u just need credit(shit like ecology(WutFace) or culture of speech(OMEGAWutFace)) at the end of a semester, for some u need to pass an exam(graded 2-5, 2 is an F, 3 is ok but uve no scholarship, 4 is like a B +scholarship, 5 is an A + 150% scholarship + some perks(not really)), core subjects span over 2+ semesters where u need credit at the end of each semester and exam is the grand finale. most credit is just credit/no credit, some is graded (2-5)
at the end of the each semester there is a credit week where u need get credit for all the required subjects. every prof has their own way of crediting, some just require lectures+attendance, for most subjects u need to defend all labs/asignments and show up at least semi-regularly. after that u have exams, first exam is available to everyone, consequent exams are premium access(u need to get credit for all the subjects + have no "tails"). pass all the exams with at least a 3 - ure good, if not then the ones which u didnt pass u need to retake in the next semester, theyre a tail for u, same with all the credit u didnt get in time
if u dont deal with all ur "tails" in time(usually u need to clear all ur tails in 2 months in the next semester) ure expelled and go to the army to become a KKomrade
anyway if u dont count the impending doom that is the analysis exam(+ mb credit because i dont even do anything in class even if i show up) im doing pretty well(got 85% of all labs done with 5 weeks left till the end of the semester, most of the group barely got 50% done by now, if even), i passed all exams on 5s(got this close to getting a 3 or even 2 on physics but lucked out) and never had tails
our ads prof pronounces data "d-ah-ta" and names pointers "uk"(from ukazatel=указатель=pointer) and queues "Fifo"(in all functions and constants) and says аберватура instead of аббревиатура
i mean idk about german but in russian a lot of english words are pronounced incorrectly not because ppl dont know how to pronounce it(well that too) but just because it doesnt cut the ear as much. thats the reason i call tiny "teenee" and pugna "poogna", and malloc "m-ah-lloc"
