Spam some hero, choose that one which you think you can carry solo, watch some streams of boosters, usually they show us how to perform great on some heroes, try to do the same what they are doing. GL.
Its really kind of a challenge going past the potato bracket nyams, you usually get teammates who dont have any fucking clue how to win games. They just play and do whatever they please, be it killing people or buying nice-ass items, but it having a gold and exp lead never ever translates the game being yours for the win always. Macromanagement wins games, but yuor quite unlucky if you geet 4 pinoys on your team sometimes xd its so fucking hard to communicate with them without kind banter which is hard to achieve in English, even if they could understand what youre saying
I cant play OD. I cant play Omni. Shit at TA and Invoker... damn
what do you guys do when falling behind in a team with feeding mid, cores who barely speak, and when team started to fight?
@aint go time to feed, I dont really like to spam heros 3-4 times in a row, i get bored ezly.
@hot sauz, yea dude, I dont mind in a team with pinoys if they at least use chat wheel. But I OFTEN get 4 guy who aint spekaing nothin. 2k is weird.
If I play with u my solo wont raisee :(((((((( fEELSBADMAN
@inx4c ill try :D:D
bukkake, I always beliEEve
idk what to tell u since im also stuck, but as i said in my other topic comfort heroes > meta heroes, i usually win a lot more with heroes that i can actually use and know how to play especially timbersaw, and whenever i play meta heroes (i played OD and NP) i have little impact on the win or i just act and move around like a headless chicken
btw i noticed u play a lot of slark like me too, i think ur slark is good, considering i thought u were a smurf when we first played
Watch matches, read guides to learn heroes better. Reading stuff is where I learn the best personally. You may think you know a hero, but reading a well written guide or listen to a good video of a better player who is really good at that hero is going to help out alot.
Many say watch pro games but nothing in pro games happens in pubgames in normal or high skill bracket it's better to get better at your own mechanics then trying to act s4 solo mid puck in a 2k game. I don't work because theres a diffrence between being a team and being IN a team.
oh btw i just checked ur last game and u did good despite ur team being utter trash
that 6.5k coach guy named ecko once said in his videos that if u do good even in games where it was close to unwinnable then you'd reach 3k in no time
i mean its been 4-5 times ive got 2.4k then back to 2.3k :(P:(:(

yolo guys 1st pick slark again now.
if you are good at lasthitting try playing carry, if not just improve your lasthitting by practice, watch some games and try to understand decision making of better players
1. Play high impact cores. I spammed a lot of bloodseeker at mid-2k (during 6.84 when AM was common in that tier), and viper at high 2k / low 3k.
Slark is a good pick to punish many 2k-tier players' terrible positioning and map awareness. Meta picks work too: enchantress, spectre, od etc.
2. Learn to farm efficiently (watch tutorials and high mmr pubs).
3. Better decision-making. This covers a variety of scenarios in-game so i wont go into that here. Basically, you identify which types of scenarios you make poor decisions in, and watch video guides or get a coach to help increase your game knowledge and situational awareness. Beyond that, making the right decisions comes down to practice and honing your reaction time.
@Unrequited
1. If u look at my games i do play lots of slark and high impact cores, am i just bad?
2. I dont know man, im pretty sure i can farm imo tho... I do treads switch.
3. I think im shit in this aspect Xd
I agree afeect. belieeve.
2k games generally go late..like 45 minutes on an average.. So I think spamming Spectre or Dusa or Morph or OD should win you 80% of your games.. Don't lose your lane..
OP, I dont think you are terrible, your stats on slark and ember are fairly promising. You got decent gpm on those heroes at least. But while it's inportant, farm isnt the only thing needed to win.
What you need to do to climb is play consistently well.
For a carry, that means in every game, you farm as fast as possible, pick the right team fights to engage in, choose the right targets, itemize efficiently, execute your hero's skills properly etc.
2. I dont think im qualified to teach you how to make better decisions. Im still learning myself lol.
But as someone who's played this game for years, and regularly watches guides and the competitive scene, I know (or at least have an impression of) what game-winning support / laning / carrying entails, and so i try to make the decisions necessary to give my team and I the best chance of winning.
Basically, when it comes to decision making you want to make sure you have a justifiable reason for every decision you make in each game, and not do irrational or stupid shit that could lose the game.
Actually make an attempt to be better instead of doing the same shit every game!
Don't spam anything- Try to get last pick or next to last, and try to pick what your team needs, don't think that you can spam the same hero over and over again if you're 2.4K MMR and win, Im 3.9K and I got there by countering and playing impactful mid heroes but also picking support when its necessary, use this: http://dotapicker.com/herocounter..
