Why don't you give it another shot and play more passively instead of trying to "snowball out of control"; you know, play with your team?
I'm not saying that supports are supposed to be useless in the early game. I'm saying that the meta favors the supports in which they can instantly place the game in their favor by the 5-minute mark.

You just haven't seen the Very High Skill bracket. Everything is so messed up. It's not like the other brackets where you see Earthshaker every game. You can barely see Earthshaker in my MMR bracket.
I barely see Earthshaker in smy games. infact earthshaker is shit in my game. Clearly you can't carry if you always need support
@FuryDaBeast Just gotta play a couple days of the new patch and I'm sure people will know how it works, losing alot myself lately, but as Kyle is saying, its just a phase.
Also it seems that this is the patch of terrorblade. Build boots > aquila > vanguard > radiance. Good luck hitting through terrorblade with 17 armor once you have vg finished. 10 base armor and 2.5hp regen at level 1 is ABSURD.
If you manage to die at level 1 as terroblade vs level 1 axe you have other issues to work with other than the hero itself.

Supports don't control the fate of the game, and if they do, try being a support yourself, they do require more skill afterall.

My terrorblade is getting shit on for the past 3 games, I might just try vanguard :O
@Kyle, you really should! With the recent nerf to S&Y it makes it practically useless for TB, vg gives the hero the tankyness it needs and allows you to farm safely.
/edit Consider getting infused raindrops aswell after the VG, as the only way they can kill you is from pure burst

I'm done. Everything is just so different. All my favorite heroes - excluding Tinker - have been nerfed indirectly. I've been feeding every game on this patch. The game now punishes hard carries and midlaners in the early game so hard that you can barely snowball out of control without the help of your supports.
