As midlaner it's NECESSARY to: 1)Survive 2)Getting as many last hits as possible.

midlane is basic dota right? when you play with bot you always play in mid right? or its just me?

not a zeus player, but I think 6 clarities is a bit too much of an investment, how about ask some1 to give you some tangoes and idk, 1-2 clarity potions? Then you can have a rly fast bottle (considering that you will also take the bounty rune). There is not much to do with this hero mid because 60% or even more of your lasthits come from arc lightning. Also I've seen some zeus players go for nulls because of the veil change but clarity N bottle start still seems better to me. Also soulring idk how zeus goes in the meta right now and if some of the popular players are going this build but having soulring, arcane boots, bottle, lens at idk - 15 min mark, makes you a total turret zeus with 700 hp and no form of escape but a lot of nuke dmg, you will be an easy target?

You should try to last hit with normal attack rather than spamming arc lightening. The latter should be used only vs opponents with high dmg/attack speed, hence qop etc. Try creep blocking and aggro pulling especially if ur playing melee vs ranged. And lastly it's not mid duty to gank side lanes. Insta mute people that will bitch about you sitting mid after you reach level 6. There is usually no way to convince them otherwise and they happen to be even in vhs unfortunatelly. Some people just never learn. Good luck

Most of my [zeus] games are now played mid because my team doesn't want me to offlane with it. [Currently at 4.2k mmr]
Playing mid is my WORST role and practically have zero knowledge to outlane even 2ks; hence im asking for the kind people of dotobuff for g00d 4ss quality help.
So can anyone enlighten me why I should go for pool'd tangoes and bottle, boot then soul ring?
Normally I'd just buy myself tangoes, 1 observer, soul ring recipe, 6 clarities. [7 clarities if someone kind enough buys it for me.]
Then from there its Soulring> Boots > Arcane boots> Disassemble to Aether > [Energy orb to get arcane once again]
When I see the other mid trying to cross the river in like 30~50 sec to play a ward I instantly get bolt at lvl2 and tango that mother f[u]cker down. Chaching $100$
Also I'm not too big on runes, usually I can only try and help a lane if I get haste or invi; anything else I just let them be. I get tps at lvl7 incase I can really help the lane out; If i have to walk for it with 340ms I just wont bother. :/
