Go to steam community discussions, find the topic "Welcome to DotA2, you suck" if you want to learn the things in DotA2.
Playing with experienced friends can help you learn the game more effectively than reading things on the internet. Some contents in DotA are learnt by experience.

Newbie here.. my friends showed me a clip of some guy ( Miracle-) plays' in youtube , since then i got hooked to Dota2.. any tips/hero should i learn???
My friend suggest me some invisible hero for newbie like me so i play riki/brood.. I played LoL before so i know some role in a team (supp/carry, etc) but the map/mechanics are quite different.. Also why that ALCHEMIST dude always in the match?? any hero counter for him aside from AA/Naix??
p/s: feel free to add me , i play on SEA server..
