its because hits are a skillshot, if you missclick ur target it won't hit even tho u have mkb.
It's all part of the forced mmr-conspiracy which is holding you back from reaching your true mmr. Kappa
^:)) you are so fun to watch how u mindlessly go about your daily living in your parallel universe
On a more serious note, if you have an item that gives u true strike, how the hell can you miss a PA? (there was no tinker)
What you described should not happen, and I haven't seen it yet. MKB attacks should always hit, except maybe vs. buildings when the attacker is blinded.
The wiki reinforces this: http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Monkey_King_Bar
Of course it shouldnt happen and if he cant even provide a replay it probably didnt.
Kobby is, however, one of those cursed souls who are held back by forced mmr-system which Gaben, the Illuminati and probably even George.W.Bush implemented, thats why he misses attacks even with a MKB. Kappa
Now seriously Mister MMR-Conspiracy: If this really happend, save the replay and report a bug, because mechanically that shouldnt happen.
I think that happened to me but against a wr, but I believe the reason is that she activated windrun while the projectil was flying so she dodged it.. However it still felt weird. It definetly shouldnt happen against a PA.
Disjointing is not a dodge or miss and still works against projectiles from an MBK carrier; it is mentioned in the linked wiki article.
But: PA's Phantom Strike does not disjoint projectiles, so that cannot be the case here. For more infos on Disjoint: http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Disjoint

So after so many games played without noticing this kind of thing, it happened twice in the same match. So I got MKB and I play vs a PA, how come I miss some hits on PA when I have MKB. Her passive is stonger than mkb or WTF ?! Cose if it is, then the baboon that made the mkb item description should learn to write proper descriptions...
Pls explain...
