for some reason running dota/csgo on ultra has the same fps as running them on low. anyone know whats causing this? afaik, lowering the video settings only affect the GPU load and doesnt really affect CPU usage. is it possible that my CPU is failing me now?
also how does dust really affect performance? the fans were caked with shittons of dust earlier so i cleaned it, but the fps drops were still there. well at least i got it cleaned :/
The dust can only effect the performance if it gets between the I eternal framework of the pc . if its on the fans the most it can do is slow the fan down and maybe cause heating issues
im considering asking about this on a dedicated pc tech/gaming forum, but i dont know any active sites and they might just laugh at my prehistoric toaster
