also queued against this guy (http://www.dotabuff.com/players/86755859/matches ) IN THE SAME GAME and since i made it a habit to check profiles before hero selection i was scared shitless because they had lv 104 and and lv 101 accounts
but its no joke that once ingame, they were such horrible players
i guess just bashing your head in a wall while repeatedly pressing find match mindlessly and playing a game on autopilot wont really make you improve at the game
this is an extreme example of it
im starting to think skill ceilings are a thing. it is actually easy to know what u have to work on. but u need a lot of dedication to improve.
Unless u have will power of a god, i don't see how i can actually get that much better in a thousand games. it's just too much effort to consciously try to fix every bad aspect of gameplay. e.g., i know i have to watch the minimap, but my attention just fades and i get ganked. i know the good mvoements to make but i still make shitty ones because of habit, and that get me a lot of harass in lane. i know my farm patterns are bad because i end up wondering around doing nothing, and i dont like to think too much in game about next moves (while dota is a game of anticipating moves and efficiency). easiest way is just get a coach.
tldr, it is entirely possible to play the game once u hit ur skill ceiling, and never improve.
i literally had a friend in steam who have 600 solo mmr with 8000 match (i met them when i was 1,2k and i amazed bcs he is lv 200 *dota 2 not reborn yet* and i add him)
badly, he dont set dotabuff profile
they dont want to improve and having fun i think
when i was 2k i wanted so much to get out of that shit that i did to 3400 in month
its just your will and want to git gud
3400 in a month? how did u learn/practice to improve? because auto pilot sure as hell wont get u mmr
I guess only people who like winning by themselves are meant to improve, others just rely on their teammates to carry them most games and they just wanna have fun using a couple spells here and there. But for me I can only have fun if I'm the one dominating the game by myself or at least doing something impactful.
Sometimes I've randomed Visage or some utterly shit hero (sry visage fans) and I felt like I was a plain 1k player, have never been so bored in a match, then I see many of my friends having this kind of impact in 90% of their games with 5k hours in the game but they claim they play for fun, idk where they find the fun in being always underleveled and underfarmed and not knowing what to do at any time.
Anything can happen in Normal Skill, and I mean anything.
anyone who is 4k playing in SEA look out for this guy
http://www.dotabuff.com/players/126932763
i was playing with him 2 games in his mirana and pa games this shit is obviously boosted missing point blank arrows more than 5 times and doing typical shit a 2k would do, im pretty sure this trash is going back to ns hopefully.
This is proof that it doesnt matter how many games u played. If u dont learn from your mistakes and improve, you're gonna be stuck in that shithole for years.
