They did this to stop smurfs. From valves point of view i can understand why they did this, however, it does really take a long time to be able to play ranked.

instead of being smart and afk co-op bot matches

hi.. im just wondering why it takes soo long to lvl an account to lvl 20. i created this 2nd account since my main one is just used for storing items coz i usually bet, soo i decided to make a 2nd account just to be able to play in cafes since i dont wanna log in my main outside just to be safe. the problem is i recall that lvl 20 or lvl 50 trophy was like 130 or less on my main account but maybe coz it was during source 1 thats why it didnt take that long to level. but i see players and a few friends who gets to play ranked after playing like 150 games or less. im currently lvl 17 account with lvl 49 tropy with 150 games but i think the leveling is kinda slow or some games dont really give exp coz they dont really show it anymore unlike in the past. so im just here to ask if some players are expiriencing the same problem or am i doing something wrong.
