EDIT: yeah thats what i mean by regen costs a lot, either time or gold.

so you dont need to go base but heal while you walk(fast) to the next victim.

echo after diffusal is amazing, blink is decent as is basher (after echo), vlads and utility shit like euls

if u snowball hard enough transitioning into carry is sth like diffusal echo bkb/skadi/basher abyssal bfly im sure, although if you get that much gold the game should DEFINITELY be over considering the hero cant farm for shit

you dont need phase, but it helps a huge lot. however if you are setting up kills for the team and not going solo its not as good ofc.

how about sange and yasha instead of echo?

echo is useless same for sy unless you're farming as a carry

Tranq regen is too slow, I'd rather go phase + urn. I get echo sabre cuz its stats r everything a riki needs, and the double hit slow works thru ulti, also slows people in smoke cloud, etc. After that diffusal into a skadi or deso or anything that procs on hit for ulti synergy. I basically do semi supports shit early on then transition to a slippery core who basically fucks supports in the bum. Blink is also a good item for u to become a pseudo puck. I've seen some people going phase diffusal skadi and it's amazing because skadi makes it so that your targets remain in your ult for a while unless they have forcestaffs

you can add an echo sabre there to slow 2 targets for 0.6 seconds as well

skadi is good for a lot more reasons than just ult synergy, but its high cost and shitty buildup on a support hero relegates it to the realm of ultra luxury items, like sheepstick on bane

idk why they nerfed carry riki so fucking hard, it had a fun playstyle of rice diffusal then play like a slark that cant farm

Sny is so damn expensive for what it does. Also the way I play riki is more of a true offlaner, who is active early but still takes more farm and aims to scale a bit. I like urn on riki cuz the HP mana regen stats r so nice. I feel like early HP items like drums, urn, and echo r almost mandatory cuz the hero is so damn squishy of doesn't matter if invis he will almost die to random aoe. Blade of alacrity tranq gives no HP, and blade of alacrity is a 1000 gold item for like 15 or so DMG at that stage in the game. 10 as, and 1 armor. Urn and phase is more cost effective. I don't go deso the thing is almost every on hit effect has some, tho usually not for support riki, merit on the hero for the reason of applying them to everyone with tricks of the trade. Riki doesn't and IMO shudnt be considered 100% a support cuz he can scale way better than almost every support.
