Played a couple games with him so far. Cant figure out the usefulness of the proximity mines. Seems Techies is pretty much a laner now unless you place aggressive jungle wards or shrine wards to try and nab near-death heroes
Techies was fucking buffed, 700 magic dmg mine at level 4, stasis no delay, escape that can do dmg or deny yourself, ult still the same.
It's magic damage now? Damn, that is pretty nice actually. Techies will be useful in fights for once.
Well more useful when an average player uses him.
The fact that lvl 3 mines kill a creep wave is good. Though mines have 1 hp and I feel like if you move around with a-click all the time on a hero without a shit animation you will never get bombed. Even creeps often destroy it quickly enough.
ah yeah. But you can still click them directly. Have to be aware all the time. Though I did see a creepwave attack it today.
oddly enough i haven't ran into techies in like 8 games
almost every game there was treant tho, and every game there was mk(who half of the games was me xd)
Techies is a counter to melees now. You can see mines but QB doesnt work on them anymore so you cant do shit but let them blow
