My dota strat involved lycan being a support but that was 1 year ago.

I always wanted to do a max howl+brood strat but I couldn't find anyone who would play lycan without wolves...

Lol with Brood's skill tree, lv 4 howl, lv 4 spiders turns them into an army of tower-chomping 850HP little monsters

We did brood lycan howl strat and it was so dirty, ez towers, and ez heroes if they bothered to try defend

lycan is definitely broken

yeah, dominate you an Alpha wolf for 30% DMG on top of that and Howling at night doubles the effect so LV25 spiderlings would have 1050HP, deal 19 Base DMG + 10+10 howl damage for 39 DMG + 30% wolf buff = ~51dmg

That is just too broken. Maybe thats why he is not in CM mode.

Anyone who picks a brood/lycan strat into ES is dumb. Ill pick brood into ES sometimes but dont use spiders after like 16:00 because thats usually when blink comes out

I have a different strat in my mind to complement Lycan's new Howl. Lycan + Night Stalker. NS can help with Howl and also his ulti (bonus night vision).

I think the wettest of Es dreams is still that one old video, where Chen gets 4 creeps and a dominator I believe, to block off creep spawn. In the first video they push high ground at 20 mins in w no way of defending, but then game 2 there an Es comes in and gets like 4K gold :)

I'm struggling to find the video, but I remember the satisfaction of all the echoes hitting the creeps and the frames dropping

Broods weakness is anyone who reks her in lane. Es is not one of those, and by the time he gets blink any tower worth defending is gone. Good brood players snowball her rlly hard, so u play someone with good armor and who can clear spiders early and there u have some counters. Es stuns then dies. Axe, centaur, storm, timbersaw, sven, etc counter brood.

You should build meka+urn+vlad to get 100k healing = 5kmmr EZ

Broods got a lot of weaknesses thats why shes 38% win rate. Pubs still suffer from players who might take a tower or 2 but it really is a 45:00 long my cores gonna outfarm your core type game

Ive lost count of the # of games ive lost where ive take the t3 mid and a set of rax only to see my team is afk farming-

I mean a good brood, the biggest reason her winrate is so low is cause most people arent brood god spammers. They do exist tho and they climb fast by ending at 15 min

i think brood is one of a handful of heroes who's pub winrate is low because your team don't adjust their playstyle to her rather than her being weak. Pretty much every game of brood I play I end up pushing the t2 or t3 bot whilst being hunted by at least 3 heroes whilst the rest of my team afk farm rather than forcing an engagement elsewhere on the map 4v2. drives me insane.

I am pretty sure that howl doesn't work on the smaller spiders (the ones created by spiderlings' passive).
At least the old howl didn't.
Though I still wouldn't recommend this "combo" even if it works. Because you don't pick brood if you want to win no matter the circumstances.
