Even if u have 4GB you should look to upgrade its super fucking easy to upgrade 2 2GB stick to 2 4GB sticks and DDR3 Ram is cheap as fuck now. they are literally just push fit

But my PC runs on ddr2. Not even sure you can buy those right now.
Hey guys, last year I saved all of my PC's hardware information with dxdiag. It is clearly stated there that I had 4gb. If I show them that, will they have to give the extra 2gb back to me (that is, if they were scamming me)?
In that case you should try wiring a potato up to your microwave you would probably have better luck trying to play dota 2 on that. If not at least you now have a baked potato to eat.
They probably didn't actually remove the ram/scam you, maybe the ram was malfunctioning so it had to be removed or maybe there's a bigger hardware issue so it doesn't recognize it any more. Why would anyone steal ddr2 ram? It's ancient and worth like a dollar.
So my laptop had some problems so I took it to the shop. They fixed it but they had to reinstall windows so dota was deleted. I had 4gb ram, but after taking it home I noticed I've got 2 gigabytes. I don't know if it's just a mistake, a loose RAM stick or they scammed me

will dota still run on xp? Says 7 or newer and 4gb of ram.
You are correct though, dota doesn't use that much memory but win7 does use over a gb idle so you need 4.
