think before picking.. can i beat middle? my team cant last for 15min alone (while i farm with midas)?
think before lvl up.. the enemy have low mana pool and high hp? them q-w.. if mana burn is useless, go for q-e
think before buying.. does my team need initiation? then dagger. There are enemies farming alone? then euls/ orchid? the natural pregression after that is scepter (mandatory) and other else is situational, linkens, bkb (survival) refresher, core (magic dmg) shivas, heart (resistance) necronomicom, travel (push) skadi, desolator, vyse (carry)..
Thanks for the tip sir.
*hats off* I'm a sea player. And I really want to improve that's why I'm asking some guides here.
I always pick the +25% XP. It's too good to pass up on Invoker. I also ask myself if their team will eventually become too tanky for combos to do much damage, for example against Spectre. If you think that your team won't be able to win early and the enemy team has a super tanky core that is very difficult to kill late game, don't pick Invoker.
@The Maven is once defeat an spectre cuz a super skilled invoker rape spectre.. but she never buy bkb so i think it doesnt count :D but at lvl 25 (never pick the -15sec tornado) invoker have an abusing crowd control with defeaning blast + refresher
Is atos good with invo I havent tried it yet.I always go for the euls it has good stats and regen.
atos is a very good item but seems hard to fit into invokers build.
u have mana issues early/mid game now cause u dont get intelligence from exort. U need to get some stats so either like veil/drums/domi and probably treads are good and ofc u still need early midas for exp. after that u can buy maybe 1 more item or just go straight aghs. You still just farm a lot with alacrity early on and kill with sunstrike until u get aghs and become way stronger in fights
^the build i use most rn and i saw a lot on DOTA TV was
midas travels aghs blink [...]
i used to build midas drums blink aghs and then whatever i need
I can calibrated solo mmr now.But I won't start calibrating until I reached vhs.Still need to learn other heroes and master them this week I'm going to spam invo. And thank you for dropping by.Really appreciate it.
Stats are really important. Rushing midas without 1 decent stat item is stupid. Often I go for RoA to keep my Forged Spirit alive longer as I farm neutral camps.
Starting build:
Wraith Band, Pooled Tango x 2, Iron Branch x 2 - shared ward unless you have a roaming support sitting mid at any point.
If you have troubles laning, get yourself a ward, ask for a gank, and keep a Raindrop on you.
Build into (12 minutes):
Boots of Speed, RoA, Drums, Midas
20 Minutes:
BoT, RoA, Drums, Midas, Aghs
Afterwards its just whatever your team needs.
With drums, you should try to either split push, or involve yourself in fights, don't just AFK farm the jungle.
Pick invoker when the fuck ever you want! he's one of the best laner and scale pretty darn good from early to late game!! yeap post 7.00 too
If you wanna learn invoker search Vurtune invoker 7.00 on youtube! He may not be favorite to many but he's definitely the best invoker player for me
i dunno, do you really need blink that badly?
i think unless you want blink and instahex on a hero like ember then you dont need it that much
might be just my bad playstyle though, i always played invoker like a farming hero
Pick invoker when you feel like you are going ot influence game in a positive way, and more so relative to picking other heroes.
Apply this to every hero, as well.
I sometimes pick invo when my enemies are more on physical damage such as lc and ursa.I'm mastering Q E.And drums before midas?
Oh yeah I'm a normal skilled invoker. That's why I created this topic so that I can or just maybe improve my gameplay.
Invoker is really bad now, same with am, gaming winning window is too small.
