Bloodthorn can be dispelled though. It's great on heroes who have Abyssal Blade/innate stuns or CCs in their kit so that can really follow up and capitalize on the silence, like Sven.

I like getting bt on heroes that are mobile and can kinda get solo pick offs, or kind of zone one hero out in a tf and kill, esp if they have mobile heroes. I like to get it on Sven weaver and slark. Tbh I Duno who gets Daedalus anymore except Sven in some cases.

Buriza are not pure dmg item it's been bought because of the crit

Daedalus is a more solid damage item, but has no utility outside of doing only that. No attack speed, debuff, true strike, mana regen, mana pool.

But Bloodthorn can't man fight like a Daedalus can.

bthorn is far better except when it is dispelled or unappliable because then its fucking useless

bthorn has higher pickoff potential as well, and makes it easier for you to not get cced

Mhm daedalus is good for spreading damage all around you in fights, you cant bloodthorn all 5 enemy players in a 10 second fight, but you can Crit all their faces with daedalus. But not many heroes effectively follow that play style

also i think its pretty good when your hero scales best with raw damage like a troll or even pa.

Bloodthorn is much better if you need to silence heroes with escapes or someone that relies on spells. If you dont need the silence its probably more a preferance call.

The best I've ever seen Bloodthorn be used for was on a Sven against a Lifestealer. The LS could molest Sven easily if Rage came on, so before that happened Sven would Soul Burn and melt him. This was in a pro game about a month after the item came out, so naturally everyone was confused at first as to why Sven wasn't going standard Daedalus. Until they saw and clearly understood why it was so necessary to have it in that situation.

Many will tell you different, but Daedalus is better left to heroes that either hit super hard or have a means to melt armor. Basically, you better be killing them faster than they can turn around and stomp your guts in for buying an item that only has the purpose of killing them faster than they can turn around.

I saw in a lot of game that bloodtorn deal way more damage than a orchid. Theres a game where i got like around 18 min bloodtorn with a echo midas brood that it is not even funny how much damage she deals. And i saw a lot of pro games where bloodtorn turns the fight around
