I am very surprised how mods think. My thread is deleted because it have the potential of sexism. You cant just deleted smtg without evidence r8? If mods really read my threads i dont disobey the rules in dotabuff code and conduct. Futhermore why didnt you deleted my other thread and deleted that one. A suggestion I may like to propose is to keep the flaming and insulting inside the "ayy lmao" thread as a "safe/neutral zone".
That way what happens there, stays there.

ayy lmao was not moderated at all for about a year, so it was a "safe zone"

I still think that there should user-based moderation. There are enough adult people from all around the globe, who spend their time on the computer (may it be work or freetime) browsing Dotabuff. This would ease out on moderation duties, and make the forums a safer place for frequent users and visitors alike.
Of course that could lead to misuse of power, since you cannot control what a user deletes and what not. Power has to be regulated, maybe a User-Mod can only flag a post and turn it invisible for the community, for a Mod to be reviewed.
As for how to recruit people. You have our steam credentials and some of our e-mails to contact us. You can see how we act (albeit behind a semi-anonymous wall).

Honestly if moderation is such problem (and it kinda seems to be), just do it like any other forum and let the users handle it via freelancing.
