usually just takes 2 maybe 3 games to get back into it, I took a 6 month break and I'm actually much better than I was before.
I started playing in 2014 and since then have taken atleast 3 long breaks (3 to 6 months) in between due to personal/professional commitments. The short answer is, it does affect you, mostly mechanically. If you have good game knowledge, map awareness and general game sense, then it will come back quite easily. Its the mechanical speed and reaction time that will take a little time to come back. You will lose a lot early on, so just play normal, not ranked. By my estimate its atleast one week to at most two weeks to get back in swing.
it only takes 1 day. they will put you in low priority if you stop playing because everything changes after you log off for 1 hour or stop playing for 1 hour the pros will go offline and the dumb-asses will replace them.

Thats because your strength is from logical thinking instead of mechanical skills and you hanged out with people who have 3k mmr higher than you everyday u lil shit
Didn't play for 2 weeks and got a 4 game losing streak when I returned. What more if it's for 2 months?
I took 6 months off. I lost about 150 mmr but levelled out after that. So, not that bad. You should play like 10 unranked games and do a bot game or 2 to remember muscle memory stuff like last hitting though, that's the biggest skill-loss area I think.
u haven't seen my accidentally blink into enemy team when running away cuz I was radiant and I wanted to blink in the botton left corner but accidentally blinked on the mini map in the opposite direction cuz the mini map is in the bottom left corner
Somethings dont leave you. i left dota for 3 years, left before mmr was invented, before pos1/2/3/4/5 was ever a thing. Came back and calibrated 3.9/4 for both solo, pt. And... i guess it has been alright?
after 2 years break i was better than before, there was something that brought me back and made me play with more caution
