Rewatch ur replays, find mistakes u keep doing over and over. Ask people who specialize in the heroes u like, questions like how they prevent from doing your mistakes.

Watch herospammers who play the heroes you're interested in.

          CUTNPASTE

-Play less heroes, it's all well and good have a deep hero pool but if you are trying to improve you need to keep as many variables constant as you can. It's no use trying to get better at Dota when you spend 50% of your brain power just playing your hero, you need your ability at the hero to be unconscious so you can focus your mind on the actual game taking place, the best way to do this is spam a few strong meta heroes. Once you have gotten higher mmr you can then widen your hero pool a bit, by repeating this cycle I have slowly climbed mmr while ensuring that I don't fall into the trap of being a moron with a 3 hero pool. (my actual hero pool at any given point is quite low but I have enough heroes I play decently that I can usually adapt with the meta).

Replay analysis, watching your own replays is generally a waste of time. Most of your mistakes will be very obvious or too subtle for you to notice. If you made a decision making error ingame, why would you think any differently when you watch the replay? Even if you can figure out you made the wrong decision how can you expect to know what a better option was, you will just end up blindly speculating.

Instead watch high mmr pubstars/pros on the heroes you want to learn from player perspective, watching them as if they were playing the game. As soon as they make a different choice to what you would have done pause the game and think through why they are doing this different to you, usually you can figure it out and it should improve your decision making on specific heroes. This is quite time consuming and I only really do it when I'm learning a new hero or if somebody is doing something new meta as I think it's generally better just to spam games to get better rather then spend all day watching.

-Play less mindlessly, I know in Australia there are plenty of 5-6k players with equal better mechanics to me, but many of them don't even think when they play, they just hit creeps and run around and hope for the game to fall into their laps. Formulate a win condition and figure out how you are going to get there, then communicate with your team. Even if you are unsure just asking your team 'what's the plan lads' gets everyone in the mindset of thinking ahead and trying to win the game rather than just playing Dota and seeing what's happening.

-PMA, it's a cliche at this point but it there's no point throwing away winnable games by raging, it just makes your job harder. Also while you are emotionally affected it's much harder to think logically and self-analyze which is the cornerstone of improvement.

                  like ctrlc ctrlv said

the only way you're gonna improve by a realistic amount is by analysing replays

but like he said, it's time consuming and boring

i stopped doing it like 2 years ago and i stopped improving, simply because it's annoying.

but if you can get yourself to wathc a single replay and analyse it for 3+ hours, then it's the best thing you can do to gain mmr

What 7.05 heroes are good to spam, because I feel like a ton of heroes are viable, so I can choose out of many heroes?

                    Safelane / Mid

Which is better for climbing mmr?

                    Nylio

Probably depends on what you are better at?
                      Idk im a 2k scrub

                      Jacked

                        play toimprove instead of toclimb?

                        CUTNPASTE

                          Mid- Voker, Lina, OD
                          Safelane- TB, Jugg, Troll

I only play safelane but I'm sure mid is still fine.

+1 to restricting ur hero pool letting u think more about the game
