It's not even implemented yet; if by update you mean phone number requirement for Ranked games.
For the duo stacks completely out of solo queue games, I think there's nowhere to go but up from there. It literally says "solo" and should be queued as one player, for better or for worse.

Is the new matchmaking update really worked well ? Because saw some comment that said they met some shit games continuously.
