What if you didn't have a choice of getting a desktop; which gaming laptop on the market now is best?
I have a asus rog for 7 years now, it has survived after a series of unfortunate events ( e.g. a water pipe broke and my laptop was beneath). It was very useful because on that time i had to travel through my state and i didn't want to carry my desktop, so even though gaming laptops are heavy, they aren't as heavy as a desktop, so you should check if there is any benefit you'd get on having a gaming laptop, because if you dont have any need to be moving your pc around, i'd strongly suggest you to buy a desktop.
