I've been having some lag issues as well recently. I never have before, so I assumed that it was being caused by Overwolf which I just recently reinstalled to use Dota Plus. I uninstalled it though and the problem persists. It's probably a driver issue or something with the new update. You shouldn't be lagging with 8gb ram and a 1050.
if you have hdd check if its above 70% when you play dota2 pub.. if its like that buy ssd or clean up your hdd (check on yt how).. idk what else would be
Now its 35-45 when watching replay and around 50 when playing pub ! Reinstalled drivers but still same issue . My csgo runs fine in between 90-250 fps as usual .. bt idk what happened to dota !and i couldnt find such issue on internet

I m getting around 110 fps when playing with bots , in demo section or when i m watching replays !
But when i am playing online, my fps does not cross even 70 ! It lies between 45-65 ! Its occuring recently.
Anyone knows how to fix it ?
