I actually agree with you. Just started playing Visage myself (I am already 4k but still)

its funy how everyone wants to spam SF or Tinker yet picking Visage will win you so many more games if you have any game sense and micro skills.

The hero just naturally shits on everything that cant kill its birds too quick, and pushes and ends the game before a P1 carry can even get 3 slotted.

tips for visage? im lycan spammer. climbed me to 3.8k now playing unranked mode cause i hate win-lose-win-lose streak... no more

Mid Visage is probably his best position. You will typically play it safe in lane until level 6, which you can then dominate just about any hero. Max Grave Chill first, then your passive, having a value point in Soul Assumption. You should have a medallion or at least a blight stone by the time you are 6, cast Q / Medallian on target and right click him and he will die. If birds start to die as you are diving tower, drop them one at a time.

Another note after hitting 6, before you summon the birds, you can TP to the offlane and can usually kill the supports/carry. This is a good idea if you are playing against mids with good escape, such as QoP.

After medallion, people usually go HotD, but I prefer vlads since it requires less micro and gives similar power as HotD does, although I admit HotD is better. (ex. Wolf pack aura 30% damage amp vs. 15% on vlads) If there is a lot of magic on the enemy team, get a pipe, so you can dive heroes like Tinker or Leshrac. If there is a lot of physical damage, get an AC. If it is a mix of both, I tend to go aghs to end the game early.

Don't let the game go too late, or you will fall off against certain heroes like Medusa or Battlefury cores that have gotten tanky. (ex. bought AC or Crimson Guard) Crimson guard is your worst nightmare, but you can use your birds to stun while it is up in team fights. You won't be able to kill anyone while it is active, however.

lmao fam just about any hero is the key to getting out of 2-3k it's about picking a playstyle you're good with a lot more than it is picking a good hero

the reason so many people are stuck in low brackets despite having 200, 300 games on tinker, PA, invoker, whatever, is because they still haven't figured out the intricacies of the game that would allow them to pierce through. spamming games doesn't make you better, thinking about the game and making changes in your playstyle does.

this bad meme of spamming a hero the minute you notice pro players doing it or you hear someone talk about it is not going to make you an instant PUB STAR™. you will always be a step behind, and the minute they nerf the hero a tiny bit or buff something else a little bit you're going to switch back to another hero, again a step behind, and you will never make noticeable changes or improvements to your playstyle along the way.

notice the guy above me for example, GAFF - he played visage 9 games after hearing other people talk about it, didn't think about how to actually build him, got a few nice games with him, and suddenly he knows all of the intricacies about the character. except he doesn't, because he uses 1 single item build across all of his games with no variance, that he likely got from someone else. and now he's apparently in a position to share all his worldly insights.

so the moment he gets a loss streak with the hero, he's going to stop playing it and blame OSfrog or whoever else for making such a shit hero.

You get basilius into wand and blight stone then rush domi, you max grave chill, then get boots and medallion, you should take towers(assuming you destroyed mid tower)

Remember that your job is to create space and end the game as fast as you can, since 3ks have weak farming skills, expect them to farm slower thus you will end the game much longer than the ideal time.

At this point, its up to your creativity to build the right items against certain heroes. Mjolnir for pl, nullifier and bloodthorn against cancers(tinker, zeus, sniper)

Also you can first pick visage cuz 3ks and even 4ks dont know how to deal with him.

Also get the cast range talent if you are facing off against a tinker/sniper.

I got out of 2k by first picking tinker and invoker !! Must be viable for everyone !!

picking visage doesnt help if you afk jungle all game like your average 2-3k player does, so yeah.

^It helps you just have to be a douche, meaning you need to somehow occupy your opponents with your teammates, and while they curse and bash eachother you use birds to eat towers and hopfuly destroy base before some guy goes

Well 2-3k bracket have same problem, nobody knows how to attack highground and nobody even bothers going for highground until they are six sloted, only then they feel confident, if they fail once and get killed they will instantly afk in jungle for 30 more minutes geting new items, so you get those dreadfully boring 1 hour + games that nobody enjoys and you need 2-3 of those games per day to say "Screw this game im doing something else with my life!"
