learn to deny almost everything, the tendency is that the lane would almost always push on your tower because of Timber's skill 1. adding early w for ghost walk and other disable wex provides isnt that bad however you have to remember that denying is the most important.
Invoker midgame is pretty good against timber so just hold out laning stage
Just zone him out from creeps before he can get stacks from ur wave
If he can't get close he can't heal
i suggest you learn how to lane invoker mid, if you watch miracle playing invo you will see him denying a lot of creeps and more efficient with farming jungle and mid lane

I got trashed with QE. I don't know how to handle him when he dives me. Should I not harass him at all, and just focus on CS? Same with Dragon Knight and Kunkka. So tanky I feel what's the point of harassing, and all three of them can zone me out of tier 1 and flat out kill me if I get too close (not DK, but he can zone me out just as well). Is QW the only way to play this? So that at least I dont die because they don't ever have mana?
