well you are Ancient player and of course you might know better but AM is a really farm-dependent hero and if he has a bad-lane, bad-farm there is a high probability that he'll lose. so the Offlaner must consider harassing him since start-time.
remember to ask your pos 4 buy Mango for you (you should probably get it too) in this way you can kill him in lane. (AM has low hp and as u two attack each other, he considers you have no mana) try it
I'd consider AM as one of morph's counters in typical situation (AM returns Adaptive strike and burns his mana). now your morph was worse than typical he didn't have ethereal min 30!
