The matchmaking for unranked lobby is not properly tuned.
Even as a archon dog, you might get matched with immortals if there are not enough players in the pool and the average mmr will go well beyond 3800 and get recorded as VHS game.
Don't think too much of it. Once you calibrate mmr, you will be forever matched with fellow low skilled animals if you decide to spam ranked.

OMEGALUL juz get good in dota. No shortcut.
