this is what i personally use
ez top 1% player with this beast of a laptop
ASUS X510U
--GOD TIER FEATURE-- your thighs gonna burn if u play sth from 1990 on an emulator. thats why this one is a beast, u cant play anything other than dota2.
aight
played a game after a week and i feel so sry for u if u plan to buy sth to play this game
like if u are russian , yeah thats probably ur life goal but i dont see why any humanbeing buy a laptop to play with 4 fucking low iq sub animals who cant even buy a forcestaff on their heroes against night stalker meepo and talking shit to others being proud of how big was the black cuck fucking their very intelligent sisters last night
not gonna mention ppl buy a fucking mek with a chen on their team in 6k+ fucking mmr, literally BASICS.
the fact that these sub creatures dare to even shit talk, kills half of my braincells every time i think about it
this game is full of retards, by playing it u are confirming that u born a downy, have a self respect and go spend ur time in toilet, u have better time tbh.
laptops right now are selling with 1600* nvidia series. Anything better than that even 1000* nvidia series with i5,i7 is enough. Just remember to get 2x of ram instead of 1. If u can get either 2x8 or 2x4 gb your choice but i would go for 2x8gb. Not maxing out the game and playing on 1080p youll be able to play at 150-200+ fps.
im nvidia/intel fanboy and i cant tell you anything about amd and you should follow it. You can write gpu/cpu benchmark in google to compare
you dont need a fancy laptop to play dota, you can buy a chromebook for 200 dollars install linux on it and play on minimum settings and you will be fine.
p sure u could play dota 2 on lowest settings on a toaster i would just focus on getting smth in my price range
im able to play dota on i5-520m with gt330m 1080p and getting around 60 fps+- on lowest settings before so anything better than this works. Even laptops with 900 series are fine. But if he wants later to use the laptop for work other games then 1600 series+ is better.
I reccomend a desktop honestly you will get a lot more value for the money. But if you prefer laptops I reccomend the ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) this is the best gaming laptop for the price. I recommend getting an older model because you don't need the newest one for Dota 2
what do you think about asus tuf gaming laptops @atmn? I was planning to buy it. What do you think about the brand tuf gaming?
Gets pretty sluggish after a year or two, currently using it and the speaker isn't working as well as can't play Dota anymore since it doesn't load at all, other games are fine, getting around 60 fps (8th gen i5 with 8 gb ram and 4 gb vram)
just get a desktop your fps will thank me later.
i can't in good conscious recommend a laptop because they use under-powered gpus and get hot and slow down over time faster.
